Oh my goodness

Fiasco afoot. My large samoyed/malamute that I love ever so much decided tonight would be a good night to disembowel my houseguest's kitten. =-( I love the kitten too, but I am extremely embarressed. Had it been my kitten, I at least wouldn't have to live with the awkwardness that my doggy killed somebody else's beloved pet. Quite... alarming (for lack of better words).
I don't think Jake realized what he was doing, he's never in the house, and he hasn't really been exposed to any cats. I keep him out away from them, but I wasn't home when it happened. I was told he acted ashamed about it,
I don't know what to say

oh dear. :(

*HUG* It'll be ok. I can send her Tardy to make up for it! He's able to defend himself. : )

They aren't angry, they both say they still love Jake. My sis says it looked like he might of just been trying to play, and it got out of control, because afterwards he was whimpering and trying to pat the kitten. They aren't mad, just understandably depressed. I would be as well.

I would just die. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it.
