IN CALIFORNIA
Nov. 3rd, 2002 09:35 amHeyas out there. I'm in CA, at my cousin's house right now. For those of you who don't know her, ummm, look at my friends' journals, she's icecelt. Having fun, got here yesterday at 9:30am. Tina picked me up from the airport, dropped me off, I went shopping with family. We went to Safeway (no Safeway in Idaho, I missed their sandwhiches, so I bought one. YUM! and jalopeno poppers, double yum, those are my favorite snack type food). At Safeway I bought a camera, which I forgot to take with me when I went ou last night. Dammit. That's okay though, we went to bars last night (Tina and I), and I don't think you're allowed to take photos in bars. Some places are weird like that. Apparently you're also not allowed to take photos in Starbucks either. Of course we all know how Starbucks is some crazy undercover government experiment....
Anyways.
So last night was lots of fun. Tina and I went out to dinner with her boyfriend (Robyn), and his friend Laurie. Ate Thai food. Yum. I had roasted duck curry, and this really good soup, can't remember the name. Anyways, if you live in the bay area, CA, go hit Thai Pepper, over in Santa Clara. Best Thai food I've ever had. Then we went back to Tina's house, where she gave me a birthday present, totally awesome. It was Gregory Maguire's (AWESOME AUTHOR) "Lost" His only book I don't have, I'll begin it on the plane back to Idaho. Then we bar hopped. I've gone to a club, and had some drinks in restaraunts since I turned 21, but hadn't been to a bar yet. I loved it. Okay, maybe it was the beautiful gorgeous sexy women in thongs I loved, but it was great. My new favorite drink = Midori Sours. Oh, and I DON'T like Honeysuckers, or whatever it's called. Some German honey flavored thing.
Going out to San Francisco to see "The Puppetry of the Penis" tonight. Should be funny.
