Dammit. My boyfriend is nowhere to be seen for two days in a row (Sucked into the world of Everquest) and I'm suddenly infatuated with a beautiful gorgeous girl. I'm just a terrible person aren't I.
He deserves it though, the more he plays EQ the worse he is. Any man who picks a video game fantasy world over their living breathing girlfriend isn't worth the feelings of guilt. Not to mention I have nothing to feel guilty over. I'm not physically cheating, just emotionally drawn. I hope he becomes like that guy who blew his brains out because he couldn't stop playing!! That would definitely teach him. I did not move to ID to become second best in line to a bunch of pixels.
Oh well. Other than feeling about as significant as a toy poodle next to a great dane, my day went well. I went in for an oil change, only to find out that my tires were literally falling apart (I never remember to check these things). The treading was gone, and there were rips or something in them. Sooo... I got that taken care of. Good thing too, since I plan on driving to Boise on Sunday to see a play. Medea. It would definitely be nice to see it in one peice. I think I'll see it alone. I was going to invite Martin, but I think not. Why does the person that would be worth my affection have to live 4 hours away?

Eeeeeep

I didn't mean for that last entry to sound so harsh. It's not like I'm totally flakey, and now like this other girl and don't love Martin. I just meant that I'm hurt by the way Martin's been acting, and she's being so sweet, and she's exactly the type of person I always fall for.
To make it worse, it's now 11:33am the next day, and Martin's name has been signed onto Everquest since 5:00pm yesterday evening. He's still playing. I can tell he hasn't stopped, because AIM tells you how long somebody's been online. That's about 18 hours straight of playing. The last time I saw him was on Tuesday, and now it's Saturday, and for people who are dating, I don't mind seeing just somebody once or twice a week, but it's different, when you've been with them for on and off for about five years, and you'd see them 4 or 5 times a week, and then they get some video game and drop off the face of this Earth, and literally stand you up for your plans. Could you believe the last time I saw him, it was because I picked him up from school, and then he had to rake his Grandfather's yard, so I went over and helped him. Then we watched a movie, went to sleep, and the next day he went to school, went home, and played EQ, I saw him for about 15 minutes that next day. And those are the two times I saw him this week.
Grrr
On to happier subjects. I'm drinking coconut rum and coke again. Drinking at 11:30am on a Saturday morning. Isn't life grand? Hah.
Well so far today, I've walked the dogs, hung out with the dogs, and glared at my buddylist. My sis has also just gotten back from CA, but she's sleeping.
OH yeah. and she brought Krispy Kreme donuts with her, so I had one of those. Yum.
I'm off to sulk and decide what to do.
Okie, I'm talking to that girly who makes me ever so happy again, and we got onto the subject of my major in school, which led me to bring up true crime books, which leads to me talking about books, which now leads me to bore you all with some of my favorite books.
All 3 books by Gregory Maguire, those are my current favorite. He writes new spins on old fairy tales, basically from the bad guys point of view. But he gives us all the background info on them, and why they turned out that way, it makes them seem like they aren't so bad at all. Really appeals to my love of criminal psychology. The best one was Wicked, about the wicked witch of the west.
It's also a little juvenille of me now, but I have a special place in my heart for V.C Andrews books (the ones she actually wrote, not just her pen name). Especially My Sweet Audrina. Which I might add was the inspiration for a song by the group Ancient (Audrina my Sweet). "Audrina.... Audrina... Audrina Adare"
Dean Koontz rocks. I love his book Intensity. I love all his books, but Intensity is my favorite.
Cannibal Killers. I forget the author, but it's a pretty common book in the True Crime section.
Slave Girls (same as above)
Deranged. book about Albert Fish.
The Secret Life Of A Satanist. Bio about Anton LaVey.
There's a bunch more, I just felt like listing a few. Everybody tell me there's! I'll make myself a winter reading list. *nerd*
Sorry about this you guys. I just needed to post all of these right now, because I have a habbit of taking quizzes, then e-mailing myself the results, and waiting forever. My new plan is to STOP doing that =) So I needed to clean out my inbox.

YEA!!! The object of my affection just called me on the phone. I got to hear her beautiful voice.I wonder if she could hear how nervous I sounded. I hope I didn't make too much of an ass of myself. Either way! She's so wonderful! I was so self concious though, because she'd never talked to me outside of AOL Instant messenger and live journal, and I naturally have this horrible mopey Daria-type voice, so I kept getting stuff to drink hoping to make myself sound better. Hehehehe!!!
On the downside. Martin is STILL playing Everquest. It's been OVER 24 hours.
Oh well. His loss!
