White Oleander

I am so stuck on this book and this movie, White Oleander. It was actually a nice surprise, right when I was in the middle of reading this book, the movie previews started popping up. I don't think they promoted it very well, because it's already in the cheap theatres, and it hasn't been out that long, but everybody should go watch it. Watch it, then realize that they left a lot out of the movie that was in the book, then go read the book. Please? I think it's a really awesome and touching story, that should make everybody think really hard about our society and the adoption procedures, and basically the whole juvenille system in this country. (yes I'm a nerd, and I'm going into juvenille law). But just check it out. I'm going to go watch it again today =0)

Damned streets

Eeep. Idaho needs to do something about the roads out here, cause they damn near almost killed me today. I was driving down a dirt road, that had a big bump at the end of it, and you cannot see over the bump, but off in the distance you can see that the road goes off a long way. So I was driving and when I got to the bump I'm lucky I slowed down just a little, because it turns out that right there irrigation goes through, and there's about a 20 foot drop into a canal right there, there's not a fence, not a sign no warning or nothing. That is ridiculous.
