Well, I'm going to the Boise pride ralley/parade today. Anybody else going? It's so depressing to not be able to go to gay pride in San Francisco this year =/ And I'm going to be visitng CA real soon, ah well. It'll be kinda cool to see what Boise has to offer anyway.

Any of you celebrate gay pride this week/today? I just got back from the Boise Gay Pride ralley. It was awesome, went on a march, saw some preformers (including this amazing drag queen lip synch to "I'm Just A Girl", while dancing around in a little plaid miniskirt, and jumproping. It was lots of fun. A lot more people showed than I thought would, Idaho is definitely more diverse than it lets on.
There were a few assholes, protesting. A guy walking around carrying a sign that said "Repent", some little asshole-Christians (as in ones that preach hatred, instead of actually following the "Free choice" and "love your neighbor" laws of their religion) passing out flyers. And some jerk running around yelling "God will judge this" etc etc. But it was all in all a good crowd.
