Saw the movie "Mona Lisa Smile" yesterday, absolutely adored it. It takes place in an all girl's college, in the 1950's, and the story circles around an art history class, in which the girls don't know how to judge art, don't know how to make up their own minds, they just say and think whatever the text books tell them. The teacher tries to prove them wrong, and forces them to think for themselves. I think it's an awesome story. For the most part, we're past women's lib at this juncture, but I still think the movie makes a good point.

It's actually nice out today, I don't see any clouds. Total blue skies. Which reminds me, [livejournal.com profile] jojotklown gave me a little shit about having "Mr. Blue Sky" (not the whole song mind you, that's a damned long song, just the chorus) as the "on the other line" answering message for my phone. That's an awesome song? Wouldn't those of you that know it agree? *waits for the sounds of disapproval*
