Jun. 5th, 2004 05:53 pmSo far this weekend has been fun. Not as taxing as Ki thought it'd be.
Friday was amazing. At the weekly employee meeting Ki was suprised with Employee of the Month, which is extra rewarding, since they only do it every five or six months, when they REALLY feel someone's earned it. Received a framed certificate and $50. It almost made me cry, heh, because Ki really cares about her clients, and goes out of her way to work really really hard to really help them. Constantly giving it my all, because it's really important to me. Don't really socialise with my co-workers, and don't try to get noticed, just do my job, the best Ki can, and don't expect anything back for it. The happiness of knowing Ki's helped make someone's life a little better, or a little easier is enough. Often feel am overlooked, so when they actually gave me a reward, it was just really nice to realise my hard work is noticed.
Later on that evening went out with some friends to celebrate, ended up sitting on a nice grassy patch for four hours, just talking, playfighting, and enjoying each other's company.
Today went to the lake for clean up, went out for coffee, bought myself some little presents with the $50, had lunch at a Gyro's place, and then went to the recycling center.
Tomorrow Ki's been told to do "F all, all day"
