(no subject)

Oh my goodness, so tonight was wonderful. Went to Ha'Penny Bridge pub for a drink (that Boddington's/cider mix Ki had last time she was there, yum!!!), then off to see The Young Dubliners. They were amazing. Almost fainted when they played Foggy Dew! Oh and they did Fisherman's Blues as well!!! *squeals* It was all Ki could do to keep from doing a damned jig, but, did end up dancing around barefoot for a good four hours (there were two opening bands). The second band didn't do a thing for me, but, Ki's a good girl, and she dances for anyone on stage in front of her, to make them feel as though they're being supported, which they deserve, just for getting up there in front of everyone. Show was ABOSOLUTELY wonderful. LOVED it. Voice is almost gone from singing along at the top of my lungs the whole time. Think most of the audience must have thought Ki'd completely lost it, but got lots of "aww, how cute, silly girl" looks from all the people around me. Of course, was mostly surrounded by people well over thirty. Spent a bit talking to the guy next to me, he remarked that is was nice to see a younger person there, since he has a daughter about my age, hehe, and he wanted to touch my shoes. It really was much fun.
