Alright. So, Ki is officially a hick, hehe.

Was on the phone with britlover yesterday, after work, when came across a donkey in the road. Now, this is a donkey that Ki's known for years, even since she began visiting Idaho, as this donkey lives in the canal behind Martin's house, along with an older horse. The two don't have owners, they just live out there alone, so, Ki often brings them snacks of apples and things.

Well, the donkey was not in the canal, the donkey was wandering loose in the neighborhood. Not sure how it got over the fence either.

So, Ki went over to the donkey, and began petting his neck with one hand, and holding the other one against the side of his neck, to try and persuade him not to go anywhere, and then rang Martin (who's home was just around the corner from where Ki was).

Martin and Tyler came to help me out, and they brough carrots, to try and lead the donkey back in to the canal.

Well, the donkey doesn't really know Tyler, and he began kicking a little, then ran away, through a field.

So, Ki begins chasing the donkey (staying to the side, know better than to approach donkeys from behind), and Martin and Tyler opened the gate. Well, then the horse comes running out. So, now Ki goes and tries to catch the horse. Keep in mind we're on the side of a fairly busy road (Homedale, for those of you in the area).

Catch up to the horse, and give her hugs, which she loves, and get her to stay with me, but she won't go back in to the canal.

Try to put a little pressure on her side, to prompt her to go in (let me tell you, with an animal that ways well over 500 pounds that's a frightening thing to do), finally she goes. Donkey goes a bit later.

The other reminder words are just grocery shopping misadventures, but don't feel like getting up to writing it out right now.
