Aug. 15th, 2004 12:41 amOkay. Decided didn't favour Opera, changed to Mozilla. Had that a while back, and didn't like it too much, but, it seems they've updated, and they seem alright now. Okay, fine, it's the damned red dinosaur that bugs me, but can deal with that.
Spent most of the day cleaning. Managed to square away the guest room, almost completely anyway, and will finish that up tomorrow. Cleaning out the laundry room tomorrow as well.
Stressed a lot today. Came across family photo albums, looked at pictures of my grandmother, and uncle, and grandfather and father, when they were all young. A lot of people say Ki looks like her grandmother. Don't know. Martin was about, helping me a bit, we got on alright, Ki supposes. He thinks the pictures look a lot like me as well. Maybe will scan one tomorrow.
Stressed over boxes of my father's old computer stuff. Know should get rid of them, they're old, out of date, Ki cannot use them, and have loads of mementos, all they're doing is sitting about the house, in boxes, doing nothing. Looked through them. If you want an idea of how old the things in those boxes are, let's say there is some pamphlets from Prodigy, an AOL 2.5 manual, and those old thin 5 inch plastic floppy disks, among other lovelies. Feel bad about tossing things, but really, those aren't him, and they aren't doing me any good. Not tossing any of his other stuff, just thinking about the computer stuff. Might keep some of the floppy disks though, those are amusing.
Feel old. Ugh. Twenty-three in little over two months =-( Ki hates birthday, especially since moving to Idaho. Luckily it falls on either (currently forgetting which one) a Saturday or a Sunday this year. Usually spend the day laying in bed reading. My mother wants to celebrate while she's in town though, even though it's two months early.
Scott, heheh, thought you'd find it interesting that Ki spent most of the day dancing around to "Goodbye Sober Day". *sings* Chk! Chk chk chk chk chk chk chk!!
Hah! Anybody remember that singer? Snow? What ever happened to Snow? And while we're at it, what ever happened to that guy? The one that had the song "Unbelievable"
