Aug. 29th, 2004 06:59 amSo the waterpark was fun yesterday. Scott, Cheryl took lots of pictures there for you. My god, these people were crazy though. There is one "ride" that is actually more like a big aquatic torture chamber (so Ki loved it, heh). It's a huge pool, six feet deep (so, uhhh, about eight inches taller than Ki), and then have it simulating white water rapids. You can float out there on little inner tubes/rafts. Now, Ki saw that some people weren't using floatation devices, and Ki's an excellent swimmer (still have some medals from when was on the swim team in elementary and middle school =-D), so she also decided not to use one. The simulation lasts for fifteen minutes, then they give everyone about ten minutes of calm water. It's really odd, because people are getting tossed around, and bumping into each other, and getting sucked under the water, etc, etc, you hear parents calling for their children, really, it reminded me of some sort of odd horror movie scene, but, it was fun. Got scared for a moment, heh, cause swallowed some water, and started choking, and everytime would almost catch my breath, would get sucked under again, but, it was very interesting, heh. Liked it enough to have another go immediately after.
My mother took about a million pictures there, so, if Ki doesn't look horrible, running about in bathing suit with wet hair, in some of them, may post a few when they get developed (which would be today, since her and Cheryl leave tomorrow, and we wanted to divide all the photos).
