Alright, just got in from party, so tired. No way am updating right now, must get off to bed, but, just so Ki remembers what to highlight tomorrow, will write some key words in. Mead. Firepit. Firedancing. Captain Kirk. Oh yeah, mead.

Rode there and back (again?)(ooh, a Ki's tale!) in the back of my friend's truck, slept most of the way back. Freezing!!
Had lots of extra ingrediants from yesterday (heheh, didn't have enough containers to bring all the food with me, so just made smaller amounts, and brought what had enough containers to carry), so, just made some lumpia and took some of the leftover noodles and made yummy pasta salad (ie: cold tri-colour fusilli noodles with red wine vinegar, celery, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, green onions, feta cheese, black olives, and italian dressing) and am about to bring it over to me friend's house as a surprise gift. She should be pleasantly surprised. Can only stop and visit for a couple of hours, then must get on over to school, but, she wasn't feeling well, so she was complaining that she was hungry but didn't feel like making anything.

Work was nice today. Client out of the hospital, and he was there today. Ki really worries about him. =-/
Went on a walk with one of the wheelchair clients. It's gorgeous out there. The leaves are turning, and we went through one of those old neighborhoods, Historic something or other it was called, in Caldwell. The houses were awesome, lots of wrap around porches and big old trees. Reminded me a little bit of Connecticut. Ki loved walking in Connecticut, miss my old neighborhood with all the hills, and big trees, and sidewalks with the cracks in them with the plants pushing their way through, and the yards with all the squirells and birds and at all times of day you could hear all the insects in their own little ecosystems, their own private worlds in the lawns. Ki misses being young, when everything was fascinating, and everything is looked at with new eyes and with wonder, and then you reach this age, where you're always in a rush. That's what Ki loves so much about her job. These clients, they still have that mentality, and spending half the day with them everyday, it puts me in that mindset too. All these simple things, a pile of leaves on the ground, a cloud in the sky, a crack in the sidewalk, a pebble in the road, it's all beautiful, and it's all new, and it's almost painful because it's so wonderful. Received a postcard from my mother in the mail today. It was lovely. Can't believe going to be twenty-three in just twenty-six days.
