Mar. 31st, 2008 05:56 amAhhh, spring break is over!!! I've got work 7:30-5:00, then school 6:00-9:00 tonight.
Matt's been sick all weekend :( I went out this morning to get him Tylenol and cough drops. I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner - I try not to take medicine, so it didn't really cross my mind, however, he's had a fever for a few days, and Tylenol does help reduce fever.
We bought a new fridge on Saturday. I can't wait until it gets here - which will be this coming Saturday (the model was out of stock in the store, we went to Best Buy). It's black, freezer on the bottom, and no ice maker - I noticed how much more electricity models with ice makers take, and was fairly shocked. It's not that hard to just put an ice tray in the freezer :P Our current electricity bill is between $40 to $50 a month, which is excellent - but I'm always trying to be more energy efficient, and since we needed a new fridge, may as well get the most efficient model possible. There was one that was $150 cheaper, but smaller, and used more electricity to power per month. Odd. Our current fridge had been having problems, where the auto defrost broke, and so every few weeks we'd have to unplug it, and manually defrost it, otherwise it would get too warm inside (I mean seriously, the fridge half would hit about 50F which is just begging for bacteria to start breeding). Dealt with that for about six months or so, but had to cave and get a new one. I bought the one we currently have used for $700 about 5 1/2 years ago, so it got it's use.
Okay, going to go have breakfast and head out!
