Apr. 14th, 2008 06:36 amWoohoo, gorgeous weekend had, and now back to work. My mother arrives today though, and I've got a 3.5 day weekend coming up (Friday off and half day on Thursday).
Saturday was spent doing garden stuff, then went out with Tyler and Michael, before going to see a film with Matt. Checked out the Spiderwick Chronicles - it was very good. Someone on IMDB very aptly described it as Night of the Living Dead for children, heheh. Oh! I also saw the film Penelope last weekend - absolutely loved it. It's got that creepy fairy tale atmosphere, and I loved all of the outfits Christina Ricci wore in it.
Sunday was a full on house cleaning day, which is nice, because I told myself once I have everything cleaned out I can fully redecorate the guest room (although that will be after my mother goes). It feels good to get rid of stuff!!!
