(no subject)

I'm about to lose it. I hate the California DMV - bunch of idiotic pigs. I hate the Toy Store in Sunnyvale (went out of business anyway), and I'm very very very angry and driving around illegally because Matt and I cannot car pool on Tuesdays due to schedule conflicts, and I can't get my title because Toy Store went out of business without properly filing their papers, and the DMV won't re-register my car because I have a pending applicaiton for a duplicate title (which I applied for so I could register the car in Idaho, but they cannot give me the title because they don't have the paperwork from Toy Store to give me the title). So my registration expired in August, I filed the paper for the duplicate title last year, they never told me that they kept the application pending even though the paperwork could not be completed, so second week of August I start wondering where the form to renew my registration was, called them, and then found out that they wouldn't send it due to the pending title application. So I start playing phone tag with them trying to figure out what to do. Three different people tell me three different things. Finally one says to fill out a form and send it in with the amount of the renewal so that I wouldn't get a late fee. They cash the check and promptly RETURN the form even though they took the money saying they can't cancel the pending title request. So i'm driving a car that expired in August, I can't bring it up to date and I don't know what to do except for wait to get pulled over and my life to go all to hell. SHIT
