Question

Eeeek. I've found a black widow spider, she's my pet at the moment, Martin's mother captured her. Now what do I do with her? Keep her or let her go? They all think she's going to make an egg sac anyday now, but I read up on them, and they supposedly only produce offspring during the summer. If she were to have babies, they could so easily slip right out the aircracks in her tank. But if I put her outside she'd freeze to death. =-( Any suggestions?

Hehe. You people are silly. Yeah I brought her from Martin's house to my house and got her a tank. Not a big tank just a little $1.00 plastic fish tank thing. Trying to decide what to do with her. But, hey, we can't just kill her because we're afraid of her. Black widows don't even bite unless provoked, they usually prefer to escape from people. They aren't those freaky jumping spiders. I'm thinking I should just get her some crickets, and if I see an egg sac I'll bring her outside somewhere
