Dreamscapes
So, Ki's had horrible dreams two nights in a row now!!
Thought to stick them down here, to be mulled over.
Let's start with the one Ki just had, because that was so odd....
Started out with me wandering about a school, somewhat like the high school Ki went to, and think it must of been a weekend or something, the campus was empty, except for the two people with Ki. Well, looked back, and saw a huge tidal wave coming towards us, and then suddenly, there was a news report being broadcast in my brain, telling me that someone had broken a damn, and the entire Pacific ocean was being emptied towards us. Ki freaked out, and started running (because you know, an entire ocean is coming toward me, and uh, I'm going to not only outrun it, but be able to run to the point where it won't be able to reach....), telling her friends to come along. We reached a fence, that had the top looped in barb wired, but, climbed up and over it anyway, the water was still coming, but for some reason, we were still ahead of it...
Started running down various roads, and in an uphill direction, and the whole time, Ki's thinking "If I can make it to my house, I should be alright, it's up hill" the logic behind that being that the water would swirl around the bottom of the hill, and keep going forward, but maybe not go over it. Self was also worrying, because Ronin was outdoors, and figured some indoor stuff may be okay, but if the water did go outdoors, Ronin may be done in.
Now, as my friends and I are running, we start to notice the ground is soaked everywhere, and there are lots of puddles.... and we realised that the ocean had already come through, and somehow missed us... there were bodies, just dead bodies floating everywhere, all bloated and blue... it was horrible. Remember in this horrible eerie realistic point of view looking into a stairwell and seeing a blonde girl in a pink dress floating at the top of a pool of water, ugh, it was gross, drowned people are really hard to look at.
Then another one of those newscasts in my head, telling me that my family is okay, but Ronin drowned.
Ran in to a house that was next to where Ki stood, and there's some odd guy in there. He confesses that he's the one that broke the damn, and that the water was full of anthrax or some odd shit, and then Ron (yes Ron, you were there, hehe) says "oh crap, I drank a bunch of that water as it went by", and the guy started laughing. Now, somehow while they were talking, Ron tricked the guy into drinking a cup of the water....
And then Ki woke up... with the song "And we'll all float on" stuck in my head, which is absolutely disgusting, seeing as hundreds of bloated bodies were floating around in my dream..
Now, dream from last night.
Started out with Ki at someone's house, maybe 10 people standing around, and there is a bureau, with a scarab beetle sitting in one of the drawers. A huge beetle. My boyfriend is standing there next to the drawer, and Ki's freaking out, wanting someone to take the beetle outside. She didn't want it hurt, just taken outside... anyway, so instead of taking it outside, my boyfriend slams the drawer shut, which squished the beetle, and beetle guts squirted all over me. I got upset, and ran out of the house, and suddenly Sony and Casper are running with me, we're about 10 blocks from my house... it's pouring rain, and Ki realises that if she keeps running she might slip, and hurt her ankle (injury from when was about 14 years old, tore ligament in my ankle jumping out of a tree and landing on a log), so Ki tells Casper, who tells Sony, and we all stop for a moment. They decide to make me go on ahead, and call them when I get home and have the door open for them. Ki was a bit angry and resentful at this, but did it anyway...
So, Ki's walking along, and DOES slip and fall off a curb... looks up from her place on the ground, and sees two mafia types, one hands money to the other, and the other shoves a blindfolded/bound kid at the first. Ki's screams, and this little gangster type runs out of an alley, shoves an electric blue bandanna in my hand, and starts pushing me towards the alley. In the alley are hundreds of flights of stairs, all spiraling downwards, and full of people. He keeps telling me "run! run!" and Ki's running down all these stairs, with people trying to reach out and grab me the whole way. Finally Ki gets to a group of girls, that are all kissing and touching each other. One of them grabs me, and puts me behind her, then grabs my hands so that they are reaching over her and touching her, and this is very odd, remember her distinctly saying in this odd voice "mmmm, KiKi is in front of me and behind me", and then she turns around and starts kissing me. I freak out, and feel awful, and start running again, finally I get to my house, and go indoors.
Inside my house looks a bit different from the one I'm in now. I walk around, and start mumbling something about not having enough storage space, when I notice a door that I've never opened before. I open it, and on the other side is a mirror of the house I'm in now... like, and entire other house attached to mine, that I'd never even looked at before... but it was fully furninshed. I walk over to the front door, to open it for Sony and Casper, when these two little old ladies come walking by, from inside the house, and go out the door. I ask them who they are, and they say they live there... so Ki flips out, worried that she's in the wrong house, and run back out, afraid of the police....
Woke up somewhere around there.
