Okay! I've signed up for my classes for Autumn...English, Spanish, and Biology. It should be a better schedule that I've had this semester! English is Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:30, which is what I've had this semester (how funny!) and Biology is from 6-7:15 with a lab from 7:30ish to 8:30ish, can't recall now - so I'll be getting home a bit earlier that I've been getting home. Spanish is on Mondays and Wednesday, but it's at the Nampa campus! from about 6-8:30! I'll be getting home much earlier!! Hmmm, maybe the schedule isn't quite as good....I guess this semester I've been home by 5:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays...I'll see if I can't trade in the Biology class for something else....if I can stick to a few early days that'd be nice. Maybe a weekend Bio class or something.

Here it goes by trimesters. Instead of taking a class for half the school year (what is it, about 16-18 weeks?) , the terms here are 10 weeks (not including finals week). Because of this quarterly feature, it's common for students to take summer classes... it's just another 3-month term, just like any other-- the only difference being that it's a little more condensed... 8 weeks instead of 10.
The advantage to that is that if you hate the subject matter or the professor, it's over in 10 short weeks. Disadvantages are that you'd better know what you're doing, because it's a lot of information, fast.
I'm glad terms are shorter here, because I'd hate to have to do 16-18 weeks of Speech and Writing. :p
Does BSU offer summer classes?
