So Ronin is at the vet getting neutered right now. Pretty cheap procedure to have in Idaho, $65, as opposed to the $150 it would cost in CA. I felt so bad for him, because he loves car rides, so he was really really happy, all slack-jawed and drooly, kissing Martin and I all the way there, wagging his tail, and just being a general chipper doofus. He was happy walking around the parking lot, and he was a good boy about going right into the vet office, instead of stalling at the door, because he hates going into strange places. He was just happy little innocent Ronin the whole way in. Then when I handed his leash over to the Stranger (vet assistant), he turned around and gave me big bewilidered disbelieving puppy eyes, and tucked his tail between his legs. I don't think he's ever been left anywhere "new" before. I get to pick him up in 2 1/2 hours though!! I bet he's going to be SO mad at me. If he's up to it, I'll take him out for a walk when I pick him up, but he's drowsy or moody, I'll just bring him home to see Jake.
