I just finished doing my taxes, getting a bit over $1000 back, and that's after donating $50 of it to wildlife conservation :)
Other than that, just did homework this weekend, and went out to see The Golden Compass at the dollar cinema.
Has anyone else noticed a growing insanity and rudeness? Yesterday Matt was signaling quite clearly to go into the turn lane, when a car that had been behind us cut out and zoomed down the lane from behind him. A similar thing happened to me while I was driving a few days ago.
Also, at work, people call up and ask me for a number to one of the other clinics, and while I'm telling them the number they start dialing it into their phones, making a horrid ring in my ear while I'm giving them the number. It's never occurred to me to dial in someone's ear like that.....but the height of rudeness I think, is people that phone up, get another call, and ask you to hold, when you've just answered the line. Ugh.
Or maybe people picking up incoming calls on their cell phones during a doctors appointment is the height. My physician told me someone answered the phone while she was doing a pap smear the other day. What the heck???
