One of my friends in Boise is related to somebody who helped put that through, she's rather upset. And she has other political relatives so she's giving them a good talking to.

Gah, that is the most disgusting thing ever. It infuriates me how ignorant people are. I feel like I might just burst.

Well, at least all 14 Democrats in the house voted for equal rights and 4 Republicans... I'll admit I was very skeptical of Dr. Ring as a legislator, but obviously he sometimes has his head on quite straight.

The irritating factor? Gay marriage is already banned in Idaho (or Utah). This is just another layer of unneccesary legislation.

I LOVE it. This story should make people think, though it probably won't. And you know that the same people who are going to blow a gasket over this would still be freaking out (just for entirely different reasons) if it were a straight couple who had been together for over half a century without getting married. It's amusing, in a very sad sort of way.

I didn't have much hope either when the contorversy came up on the 10 Commandments statue. But there are people in Boise who do have some logic in their brains, which give me hope.

While the fight in the states will probably escalate, I seriously doubt Bush can get the backing he needs to make a it a nation-wide constituitional amendment. I'm thankful the founders made sure they went with 2/3s approval than 50%.

In the meantime, check out http://www.idahostatesman.com/interactive/messageboard/index-mb.htm. No logical explinations can be found by the opposition, which makes me sad. Should be easy to figure out who I am though. :)

They're trying to do that over here in WI. I think it's incredibly stupid. However my mother disagrees totally. It's weird how a comversative minded woman can raise a very liberal daughter. In somethings she is conservative in others not. But anyway, there's a possibility that it might not pass. Somehow they managed not to override Gov Doyle's veto on carrying concealed weapons. Maybe there is hope?

It's great good things are happening out here in Cali, the new Mayor of SF has decided to allow Gay Marriges and has pretty much lit a fire under the asses of the Anti Gay bastards
