(no subject)

I had something to say, and I forgot what it is =/ Hate it when that happens.

Went to my friend's house and played Twisted Metal Black after work today, sucked at it, hehe. Oh well, I had fun. After that we played Soul Calibur and watched Dragonball GT.

Came home, took a shower, and now I've been reading for a few hours.

My mom called, from the PI earlier. She arrived safely, and she's been having fun. Awesome. =-)

Putting in for the days off next month, at while I'm at work tomorrow. Hopefully I get the days, so I can go to CA. I'm pretty sure I will.

I'm so PISSED at the President.

"President"...in my opinion, he doesn't even deserve such a title.

How about, "That guy who's running the country into the ground"

It was ran into the ground far before any Bush took office. I dont support the president but I dont blame him for everything. It takes more then 1 to screw the country up. Its like a domino effect from many a moons ago.

What city in California?

[identity profile] velvetechos.livejournal.com 2004-02-26 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Sunnyvale, that's where I moved to Idaho from. You're in San Diego right? I've only been there once.

The Terminator is the one who really gets me, saying that letting a few people who love each other get married without his permission will lead to death violence and anarchy

[identity profile] eeyoreshome.livejournal.com 2004-02-26 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
Arnold has little to do with it. The voters of California a few years ago, passed a proposition that is now a law since it passed that specifically says that marriage is between a man and woman. So Arnold is not really to blame. The majority of the people in California are against it.

Obviously we only get bits of the news over here in the uk but from what I saw, it struck me that he seemed to be overplaying the effects on society.

He may not ultimately be to blame, but, he's stating a negative opinion, and while everyone has their own right to say as they wish, his statement is ignorant, you can tell by the basis of his argument.

Yes, he's pissed me off to no end as well, I'm only glad that I left CA before he took office.

i didn't spot it a the time but the death violence anarchy thing sounds very much like one of his films.
