Went and saw "The Passion of Christ" yesterday. Nice, gory, bloody, film.
Now I've got two, somewhat nosey questions for all of you, if you'd like to answer...

What religion are you, if any? What religion were you raised as?

Also, on a totally unrelated note, Billy Boyd *swoon* is slated to do the voice of Chucky's "gender confused child" in the next Child's Play movie!!!!!! *scream scream scream pant*. I hope this is not a big load of b.s., but it was on Billy's homesite, so I'm assuming it's true.

What religion am I?
I don't have one. I believe in being spiritual and not going to church, because I think it's pointless to be a poser. I guess I am kind of a mix of little things though. A lot of my friends are Pagans, so some of it has rubbed off on me. Although I don't have a defined religion, I'm happy with my personal beliefs.

What religion was I raised as?
My dad's family are Mormon, my mom's are Lutheran. I went to Lutheran church with my grandparents every once in awhile. My parents don't practice, so I really wasn't raised as anything.

the answer to both questions is "nothing." I suppose I most closely resemble an agnostic, but I don't define myself as anything.

I don't really know if I could define myself under a religion anymore. There doesn't seem to be a name for what I believe. I will say that if anyone asked (like you), I would define myself more pagan than anything.

My mom is Mormon, my dad is Christian (baptist I think) but neither were strict enough themselves to send me and my sister to church. I think I've been in church by choice once when I was six or seven. They were baptizing at the time, which is all I really remember of it. I remember being bored the other times.

I am agnostic. I was raised as many religions, Lutheran and Methodist are the main ones I remember.

growing up,my parents didnt go to church or anything,but i did go to a baptist church when i was really young.

I guess I was raised in a sort of "armchair" form of Christianity. God and Jesus existed, the same way the Tooth Fairy and Easter Bunny did. It was just a fact of life, nothing that a big deal was ever made over, and definitely not worth inconveniencing ourselves by going to church for. After a few interesting detours, I consider myself an Apathetic Agnostic (c). This means that I don't know if there's a god, and I'm never going to know as long as I'm still alive, so I've stopped caring.

Um, hmm. I was never baptised and so I went to church a lot with my Grandma as a kid. She was really upset with my ma for that. My grams was Catholic, but also went to other churches, it didn't matter. (Methodist, Catholic mainly). I don't know if she was trying to convert me or what, but I believed though. Until she died when I was 11. Then I stopped believing. Some things I like, some I don't. I became a self proclaimed buddhist when I was 15. I'm a really bad one. I believe in the Great Spirit which is different from God and stuff. More to do with my native american (or how I like to say injun) heritage. So yeah. I dunno. Basically whatever I am, I'd be considered a heathen either way (unless I get baptised something of course. Which I won't). Thanks mom for that one way ticket to hell. :)

Well I wasn't raised with a religion but when I was about 13 my dad went on a religion kick and we went to church for years and I ended up getting baptized as a Lutheran, but I have dropped that from my life and I wrote up my own beliefs so I guess you could say my current religion is my own
