Went and saw "The Passion of Christ" yesterday. Nice, gory, bloody, film.
Now I've got two, somewhat nosey questions for all of you, if you'd like to answer...

What religion are you, if any? What religion were you raised as?

Also, on a totally unrelated note, Billy Boyd *swoon* is slated to do the voice of Chucky's "gender confused child" in the next Child's Play movie!!!!!! *scream scream scream pant*. I hope this is not a big load of b.s., but it was on Billy's homesite, so I'm assuming it's true.

I don't really know if I could define myself under a religion anymore. There doesn't seem to be a name for what I believe. I will say that if anyone asked (like you), I would define myself more pagan than anything.

My mom is Mormon, my dad is Christian (baptist I think) but neither were strict enough themselves to send me and my sister to church. I think I've been in church by choice once when I was six or seven. They were baptizing at the time, which is all I really remember of it. I remember being bored the other times.

*nodnod* I always thought Mormon's were kicked out of the church if they married out of their religion, but I seem to know a LOT of people with one Mormon parent.

My mom has Release Society Teachers (I think that's the term...I've always heard it that way) that visit every so often. My dad doesn't like them, so they usually visit when he's gone. I don't know how often they go see her anymore.

My mom's side is pretty much total mormon. They came here in the 1800s and moved to Utah (of course). Funny thing...after talking to one person on IRC for a number of years, I found out that his ancestors and my ancestors met around 1850. His ancestors are even mentioned in my mom's family tree book. Neat stuff. :)

It's so strange, yet neat-o when things like that happen.
