So how was everyone's St Patrick's Day? Mine was ... well, rather interesting at some parts. I did the American tradition *snort* of having corned beef and cabbage, and I also drank Bailey's to the point of practically being able to float myself to Ireland. Later in the evening went to the cinema and took in "Secret Window". I liked it quite a bit. Any opinions from anyone else who has seen it? holyprincetom I know you adored it. Had you also read the story it was based on?

I read the story not too long ago knowing that the movie was coming out... I really liked how they changed the ending and pointed out in the movie that "This ending is perfect."
Lots of hidden little things that I found interesting, like how JD smashes the mirror when he's looking thru the house and we find out later on that in fact it is him doing everything, the placement of Tom Robbins books and the copy of The Rum Diary (One of Hunter S. Thompson's books that is being made into a movie with JD) on the coffee table by the phone.
It's one that I'll be buying when it's on DVD.

Same here. I'm half tempted to go see it again while it's still at the cinema!
