Guess toss weed killer on it? Anyone have any advice? Ha! Anyone want to help me? *gives Sony beseeching glance* Ki'll buy you some cake if you help her with some yardwork....

It's a lot like Wal*Mart but smaller and cheaper. They also (did) have a big pets section - in this one its the basement. There's a large toys department too. They really are the best place for 'em in Idaho.
Make a trip someday and see a true "five and dime" remnant. :)

Date: 2004-05-06 11:38 pm (UTC)Though I'm surprised they're still in business. The one in Mountain Home was open probably for a good 20 years before K-Mart then Wal-Mart moved in and basically killed any small business like them. It's cool they tried to keep a basic structure though. :) Ours was three floors: furniture on top, knick-knacks on the middle, and aisles of toys in the basement.
Also the only store I was in that I was accused of shoplifting, because someone saw me slip a flyer in my coat *on the outside of the store*. They think I stole a pebble? :P The guy led me in back, searched my coat, and sent me off after telling me why I was there. My dad had words with him.
Ahh the old time memories...that you probably didn't want to hear. :P
